I talk about research in the marketing communication sense, rather than Market Research. I have been involved in Customer Satisfaction Surveys from question construction, design, mailing, response collation and working with external agencies to analyse results. I have also conducted benchmark studies. These are useful for testing messaging, new advertisements and for receiving feedback from the target audience on their perception of your brand. If benchmarks are carried out annually, they can also be part of the marcom measurement programme. |
