SEMINARS

Below are samples of Seminar invitations. Seminar project management involves selecting a relevant and interesting topic, finding speakers (internal and external), venue booking, database selection, invitation design and print, mailing, co-ordination of responses and confirmations. Also telemarketing to boost response, collating and final production of slides, badges, registration and co-ordination of the event on the day. Post Seminar work includes disseminating leads and follow-up of non-attendees.

An interesting project management contract between two companies - NetScreen Technologies and Extreme Networks. They are Technology Partners and I assisted in the strategy, content and theming, design, development and deployment of the seminars across 6 EMEA countries. This invite was produced in 4 languages.

This was a direct mail piece promoting the new NS-5000 product with a seminar series as fulfilment for NetScreen Technologies. The piece was created in English, French and German. I also developed a 3 language registration website to go with the mailer. The seminars ran in UK, France, Germany and Sweden.

This was a seminar for Extreme Networks.

It was a launch of a Consultant programme and also included a website and CD Rom which had to be ready for the seminar date. The invitation evoked a 3% response rate. Over 50% attendance occurred at the event.

Above is an invitation for a Voice & Data Integration Seminar. Integration was a hot topic and the seminar attracted a good audience. As you can see, the seminar included speakers from Cisco and Mitel as well as Chernikeeff.

This seminar topic was network security and ran during a time when everyone was covering this issue. The invitation design purposely moved away from a corporate look and feel of Chernikeeff with the intention of catching the readers eye over and above other invitations to similar events.
